CMS Again Extends Deadline for Providers to Update NPI Application Information

August 9, 2007 -- Did you happen to miss the July 16 deadline for updating information on your National Provider Identifier (NPI) application before some of this information is made available to the public? If so, you have a reprieve.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently extended yet again the deadline for making any necessary changes to Monday, August 20. CMS reports that it will make the information public on September 1, 2007.
