Good Practice, our latest version of the publication from the APA Practice Organization, is designed to keep practicing psychologists up-to-date and help you make informed decisions about how to manage, build and grow your practice. The 20-page publication is filled with practical articles on such topics as necessary steps for HIPAA compliance, the triggers that mandate compliance, extra privacy for psychotherapy notes, a focus on the HIPAA Privacy and Security rules and how to apply for an NPI.
